Marian ‘Bea’ Fowler

FOWLER, MARIAN, August 23, 1934 – December 23, 1988

Marian ‘Bea’ Fowler, 54, Pocatello, formerly of Idaho Falls, died December 23, 1988 at Marysvale Samaritian Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona, following surgery.

She was born August 23, 1934 at Malad to Daniel J. and Rachael Jones Leigh, and moved to Idaho Falls with her family when she was six years old. She attended Idaho Falls schools.

On November 10, 1951, she married Melvin F. Fowler at Shelley and they made their home at Minidoka for six years before moving to Pocatello in 1959.

Mrs. Fowler had worked as a cook at Bannock Regional Medical Center for six years.

Survivors include her husband, Melvin F. Fowler of Pocatello; her mother, Rachel Jones Leigh of Idaho Falls; three daughters, Karen Jones and Mrs. Curt (Brenda) Neville, both of Pocatello, and Mrs. Mark (Janet) Moats of Nampa; four sisters, Mrs. Willis (Alta) Fluke, Mrs. Virgil (Jean) Hooper, Mrs. Don (Danna) Fluke, Mrs. Marty (Ann) Littleton, all of Idaho Falls; eleven grandchildren; and three step grandchildren. Her father preceded her in death.

Her funeral will be Thursday in Manning Funeral Chapel, Pocatello. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens at Pocatello.
