STOCKS, MARGARET YVONNE, November 25, 1934 – May 24, 2004

BRIGHAM CITY – Margaret Yvonne Stocks, 69, passed away peacefully at her home on May 24, 2004. She was born November 25, 1934 in Norwich, Norfolk, England, a daughter of John and Hilda Smith.

Margaret married her sweetheart, Don Stocks on June 16, 1956 in Norwich, England. Their marriage was solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple on July 13, 1971. Don preceded her in death.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, belonging to the Brigham City 2nd Ward, serving in the primary, cub scouts, family history and compassionate service. Margaret shared many acts of service and loved the Golden Spike activities. She also enjoyed sewing, painting, the beach and playing with her grandchildren.

Surviving are her five children, martin L. Stocks of Eagle Mountain, UT; Karen Menlove, Donna Pett, Stephanie Gill and Jason D. Stocks all of Brigham City; 12 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren ; brother and sisters, Paul Smith of Norwich, Norfolk, England; Penelope Talkington, Scottsboro, AL; Patricia Womack of Portola, CA; Hilary Weavers of Norwich, Norfolk, England; Janis Graham of Derham, England.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Funeral services will be hel May 28, 2004 at the Brigham City 2nd Ward Chapel. Interment will be in the Calls Fort Cemetery in Honeyville, Utah.
