Margaret Joy Rice Wold Jorgenson Burbank Harrison

HARRISON, JOY WOLD – March 5, 1928 – December 27, 2008

TAYLOR – Margaret Joy Rice Wold Jorgenson Burbank Harrison, 80 years, passed away December 27, 2008 at McKay-Dee Hospital. She was born in Plain City, UT on March 5, 1928 to Frederick P. and Sarah Lettie Tracy.

Joy married Carl Junior Wold on July 18, 1946 in Preston, ID. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. Carl passed away April 8, 1993. She married Wendell Jorgenson and DeVern Burbank who both preceded her in death. She then married Jess Leon Harrison in July of 2008.

She was an active member of the LDS Church and served in many different callings throughout her life. She was a member of the Taylor 4th Ward. She loved attending the temple weekly with Leon.

Joy was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. She enjoyed golfing, dancing and spending time with her sisters. She was an excellent seamstress and made beautiful afghans which she lovingly presented to her family. She was a hard worker and immaculate in any endeavor that she undertook. Joy was very gracious and her door was always open to anyone that came by.

Joy is survived by her husband, Leon Harrison, daughter, Kathy (Craig) Cooper, Orem, UT; son Craig (Bobbi) Wold, Pleasant View, UT; daughter, Lori (Alan) Reimschussel, Pleasant Grove, UT; 17 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, two brothers and four sisters.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jodie Nancy Wold, one grandson, Jared W. Reimschussel, her parents, four brothers and one sister.

Funeral services will be held December 31, 2008 at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary. Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park.
