SERVICES HELD FOR MARGARET A. THOMAS

Funeral services were held Monday at the Malad LDS Stake Building for Mrs. Margaret Archibald Thomas, 52, who died at the Dee Memorial Hospital in Ogden, Utah on February 3, 1966.

Family prayer was offered by Rene Deschamps; organ prelude and postlude, Elda Laine Archibald; invocation, D. LeRoy Thomas; obituary and remarks, Elden Archibald; vocal solo, Jenkin Palmer, talk, LaMar Thomas; benediction, Wayne Archibald. Burial was at the Malad Cemetery with Lyde Facer dedicating the grave.

Flowers were carried by members of the Malad Fourth Ward Relief Society and the casket bearers were William Vlaanderen, Larry Howard, Charles James, Donald Hughes, Elmer Evans and Jay Carlson.

A daughter of Robert H. and Mary Jane Tims Archibald, she was born Dec. 20, 1913 at Clarkston, UT. She was married to Benjamin Thomas Sept. 19, 1932 at Malad and they made their home here until Mr. Thomas’ death, Aug. 3, 1953. The family moved to Logan and then to Ogden.

Mrs. Thomas is survived by four sons and three daughters: David R., Sunset, UT; Jay D., Ogden; Mrs. William (Kathy) Vlaanderen, Peterson, UT; LaMon, Provo; Mrs. Charles (Joan) James, Mrs. Larry (Marilyn) Howard and Jimmy Ray, all of Ogden; 13 grandchildren; one brother and seven sisters.
