WELTI, MARALENE M., (No dob) – January 8, 2006

Maralene Mills Welti passed away in Danville, CA on January 8, 2006 at the age of 74. She was the daughter of Milbourne Lehman Mills and Ida Marguerite Hess of Malad, ID.

A graduate of Malad high and California State University in Hayward, CA., Maralene worked for some time as a Chief Counselor at the Santa Rita Women’s Jail.

A professionally trained vocalist, Maralene enjoyed the performing arts and at one time carried the female lead in a musical performed at the LDS Interstake Center in Oakland, CA.

Her former husband, Walter D. Welti of Danville, CA, two daughters, one son and five grandchildren, all of who live in Northern CA survive her.
