Mable Facer Clark (Birth – February 26. 1901)

Malad – Mable Facer Clark, 87, of Route 1, Box 98, died Wednesday, June 22, 1988, at her home.

She was born February 26, 1902 in Samaria, to James Alma and Rosela Dalton Facer. She was raised and educated in Samaria.

She was a housekeeper for several families in the area.

She married Leonard Clark June 6, 1923 in Malad. He died October 1970.

She and her husband farmed their entire lives in Cherry Creek.

She was a member of the LDS Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Gerald (Connie) Couch, Malad; six grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Raymond Facer, Salt Lake City, Utah; Evan Facer, North Ogden, Utah; and two sisters, Melba Lewis, Salt Lake City, Utah; Mary Nielsen, Malad. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Norma John Flint; two granddaughters, one great-granddaughter, one great-grandson, nine brothers and sisters.

Funeral services were at noon on Saturday at the Malad LDS Fifth Ward Chapel with Bishop Frank Gunnell officiating. Burial was in the Malad Cemetery.
