Lynn Lusk Williams, (1905)

Our loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend, Lynn Lusk Williams, Sr., age 92, passed away on Dec. 23, 1997, in Salt Lake City, Ut.
He was born Oct. 23, 1905 to Jenkin Vaughn Williams and Elizabeth Lusk Williams, of Malad, Idaho. Lynn recently celebrated 72 years of marriage to his sweetheart, Genevieve Sweeten Williams. Marriage solemnized November 24, 1926 in the Logan LDS Temple. He spent his life faithfully serving the Lord, including service as LDS bishop of the Twelfth Ward and East Twelfth Ward in Salt Lake City. He was a High Priest in the Monument Park 8th Ward. In his professional life, he and his wife owner and operated World Treasures Imports.
Lynn is survived by his wife, Genevieve; son, Lynn L., Jr. (Carole); daughters, Donna (Ralph) Strong, Salt Lake City; Lila Neilsen, San Diego, CA.; and Claudia (Kenny) Ingleby, San Diego, CA.; also 12 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren; brothers, Ellis L. (May) and Keith L. (Pat) Williams, of Blackfoot, Idaho.
Lynn loved his family and his legacy to them and to his fellowmen was his kind and noble life.
Funeral services and burial were held Saturday, December 27, at Larkin Sunset Lawn, 2350 E. 1300, Salt Lake City, Utah.
