Lyndell Napier Ward

Lyndell Napier Ward, 41, wife of Shawn D. Ward of Arbon, ID, passed away with her family at her side on December 31, 2007, at Portneuf Regional Medical Center in Pocatello, ID.

Lyndell was born November 6, 1966, in Malad, ID, to Lynn Bardell and Emogene Napier.

She attended Malad High School, where she enjoyed sports and was very athletic. She graduated in 1985.

Lyndell married Shawn Ward September 7, 1990, in Arbon, ID. They were sealed for eternity on September 7, 1996, in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. They made their home in Arbon where they have been blessed with four children: Holli (23), Eric (15), Shaylynn (8), Ethan (7).

Lyndell was a very selfless spirit who thought of those around her before herself. Her family meant everything to her and they were noticeably her first priority as shown by her endless service and care. She loved the outdoors, riding horses, reading, and taking pictures of her family.

Lyndell is survived by her husband, Shawn Ward; four children, and one son-in-law, Harley Williams; two grandchildren, Carter (2) and Mason (11 months); parents, Bardell and Emogene Napier; four sisters: Barbara Smith, Leann Woodward, Jeannie Price and Sherrie Wise; grandparents: Wanda Wharton; and numerous aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews; father and mother-in-law, Vance and JoAnn Ward.

Lyndell is preceded in death by sister-in-law and close friend, Shawnta Ward.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday January 5, 2008, at 12 noon in the Malad LDS Stake Chapel, 1100 W. 1250 N. Friends may visit with family on Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the church, and again on Saturday prior to services from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Arrangements by Horsley Funeral Home.
