Lula T. Jones, 12 January 1904

Lula T. Jones, 92, long time Malad resident, died April 15, 1996 in the Oneida County Nursing Home.

She was born January 12, 1904 in Malad, a daughter of George Walter and Mary Jones Thomas. She was reared and educated in the Malad area, where she had been a lifetime resident.

On June 29, 1921, she married Ed B. Jones in Malad. Mr. Jones passed away November 14, 1976.

Lula loved the outdoors, where she enjoyed gardening and loved fishing.

She is survived by two sons, Ralph T. and wife, Irene, of Hagerman, ID; and Walter J. Jones of Georgetown, ID; 12 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sons, Boyd and Mark and one brother.

Graveside services will be held April 18 in the St. John Cemetery.
