Lula Mary Burrup Anderson – 2 Dec 1899

DOWNEY – Lula Mar;y Burrup Anderson, 85, Downey, died Monday at the Marsh Valley Hospital in Downey.

She was born Dec. 2, 1899, in Downey, to William and Hannah Maria Byington Burrup.

She was married to Alma William Anderson Oct. 5, 1921, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died March 10, 1969.

She was a member of the Downey Second LDS Ward and had been active in community affairs, which included many years of service to the Bannock County Fair. She retired as manager of the Downey School Program after 22 years of service.

She is survived by three sons, Clive Anderson, Downey; Wayne Anderson, Boise; Lloyd Anderson, Salt Lake City; three daughters Mrs. Glen (Letha) Atwood, Blackfoot; Mrs. J. Guy (Neola) Gleed, Provo, Utah; Mrs. Doyle (Marie) Morrison, Tremonton, Utah; one sister, Mrs. Joseph (Vivian) Symons, Provo; 19 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Thursday at noon in the Downey LDS Ward chapel. Friends may call at the Marsh Valley Funeral Home in Arimo Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday at the Downey Ward chapel for one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Downey Cemetery.
