Lucille Evans

EVANS, LUCILE, February 5, 1944 – November 22, 1990

Lucille Evans, 46, formerly of Malad, died November 22, 19990 at her home in Pocatello.

She was born February 5, 1944 in Malad to John O. and Gladys Christensen Evans. She attended schools in Downey and Malad, attended Malad High School and Idaho State Vo-Tech.

She had worked for Malad City and the Malad Senior Citizens Center. For the past nine years she had lived in Pocatello where she worked for the Deseret Industries and the St. Anthony Apartments. She was active in the LDS Church and served as Young Women’s secretary for many years. She enjoyed babies and handiwork.

She is survived by her parents of Malad; seven brothers, Merrill Evans, Blackfoot; Glade Evans, Phoenix, AZ; Larry Evans, Brigham City, UT; Norman Evans, Los Angeles, CA; Dean Evans, Smithfield, UT; jack Evans, Tremonton, UT; and Sam Evans, Pocatello; three sisters, Mrs. Milton (Carolyn) Roche, Tremonton, UT; Mrs. Reed (Judy) Teuscher, Boise; and Mrs. Wayne (Cathy) Garner, Salt Lake City.

Funeral services were held Monday at noon in the Malad Third Ward Chapel. Burial was in the Downey City Cemetery.
