Lois Evans

EVANS, LOIS, March 1, 1919 – July 7, 1934

Funeral services were held Tuesday at the First Ward Chapel for Lois Evans, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ben A. Evans, who died July 7 at the Dee Hospital in Ogden after an illness of three weeks with mastoid trouble.

Bishop J. Guy Gleed of the Reynolds branch presided at the services. The invocation was offered by L.G. Corbridge. Speakers were J. Peter Jensen, President Thos. W. Richards, and Owen T. Davis. Musical numbers were a vocal duet by Mrs. Merl Lusk and Mrs. Maude Jones; a violin solo by Miss Margaret Crowther; and a vocal solo by Mrs. Margaret E. Jones. The benediction was offered by Jesse Hughes. Burial was in the Malad cemetery where the graave was dedicated by John J. Evans.

Lois was born at Malad, ID on March 1, 1919. She is survived by her parents; two brothers, Glen and Rex, and two sisters, Betty Mae and Theda.

The large attendance of friends and relatives at the services and the profusion of beautiful floral offerings were an expression of the love of all with whom Lois had associated.

Out of town people who were in attendance at the services are: Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum Reynolds of Ogden; Mr. and Mrs. Joe Gilson of Rockland; Mrs. David Daniels and Mrs. Richard Stuart of Arco; Mrs. Ray Nelson of Weston; Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Boles of Lewiston, UT.
