Louie Rawson Richardson, 100, 778 Fir, a longtime resident of Pocatello, died Saturday morning [August 22, 1982].

She was born Oct. 27, 1881, at Plain City, Utah, to Joseph and Elizabeth Wainwright Rawson. She married Clarence Richardson Oct. 12, 1904, in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. He died July 21, 1976.

Mrs. Richardson attended school in Plain City and after her marriage moved to North Ogden, Utah. In 1907, they moved to Menan, in 1929 to Rigby, and in 1937 to Pocatello.

She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, was on the Relief Society stake board, and was a visiting teacher for more than 60 years. She served a church mission to Alberta, Canada, in 1946-47.

She was a member of Daughters of Utah Pioneers, and enjoyed handiwork and singing.

She is survived by a son, Clawson C. Richardson, Idaho Falls; two daughters, Mrs. Cecil (Zina) Harper and Mrs. Lynn (Emily) Hall, Pocatello; 18 grandchildren, 69 great-grandchildren and 29 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, a daughter, a brother and four sisters, a grandchild and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the LDS 16th ward chapel, 500 W. Cedar, with Bishop Bruce Winegar officiating.

The family will receive friends Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Manning Funeral Chapel, and Tuesday at the 16th ward chapel one hour prior to services.

Burial will be in Mountainview Cemetery.
