LOUGENE REES GRANT

Heaven’s gates opened on January 28, 2012 to our beautiful angel LouGene Rees Grant. LouGene was born on September 26, 1934 in Malad, Idaho to MM and Hanna Jones Rees.

She met and married the love of her life, high school sweetheart, J. Blaine Grant on November 1, 1952, recently celebrating 59 years of happiness together. LouGene loved her family immensely and enjoyed getting them together all the time. She was the “Hostess with the Mostest”. Everyone was always welcome and she was a true friend and grandma to all. She truly blessed us all with her warmth and love and will be greatly missed and forever marked in our hearts.

Survived by her sweetheart, Blaine; loving daughters, Patti (Les) Dawes, Kathy (Steve) Knorr, Laurie (Bob) Rufener, Barbi Grant; seven grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; brothers Don and Lenny Reese. Preceded in death by her loving parents, MM and Hannah Rees.

Services to be held February 2, 2012 at the Willow Creek 6th Ward, Sandy, UT. Entombment Larkin Sunset Gardens.
