Her family home was in Arbon, Idaho, where she had to ride her horse to school. The family then moved to Ogden, Utah where mom graduated from Ogden High School.

Mom worked for the Weber County School District for 20 years, in retail and at Wonderland Daycare in Riverdale.

Mom was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day saints. She worked in the Sunday School for ten years, the Young Women’s program and had been a visiting teacher for many years.

She was a member of The Daughters of the Utah Pioneers and belonged to Camp Sage.
