Loren Price Dies Here Wednesday

Loren Price, 54, died Wednesday at the Oneida hospital of a kidney ailment. Mr. Price entered the hospital Oct. 23rd.

A life-long Oneida county resident, Mr. Price was born May 3, 1904 at Malad, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. S. W. Price. Reared and educated here and graduated from the Malad high school, he married Erma Wright in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple on January 4, 1928. A member of the LDS Church, Mr. Price engaged in farming and was employed by the Sego Milk Co. as a trucker.

Surviving are his widow, three children, Loren E. Price, Oakland, Calif.; Mrs. Mary Lois Monson, Soda Springs; Darrell Price, Malad; three brothers, John L. Price, Malad; S. Willard Price, Greenwich, Conn.; Thain Price, Baker, Oregon; three sisters, Mrs. D. O. (Annie) Daniels, Malad; Mrs. Mary Peterson, Logan; Mrs. Leonard (Faun) Bealer, Empire, Oregon; and eight grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 1st, at the Malad First Ward with Bishop Howard Neal in charge. Interment will be in the Malad Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Benson Funeral Home Friday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. and Saturday morning at the family home, 368 W. 700 N., after 10:30 a.m.
