Services held here for Loren L. Peck, 77

Funeral services were conducted Wednesday at the Benson Funeral Home for Loren Leigh Peck, Sr., 77, Stockton, California and a formed[former] Malad resident, who died Saturday [27 Mar 1971] in Stockton after a brief illness.

Mr. Peck was born March 24, 1894 in Malad, a son of Fredrick and Elizabeth Leigh Peck. He married Susannah Price in 1911 at Malad. She died in 1930. He married Bertha Billingsley, July 25, 1934, in Farmington, Utah.

Mr. Peck was a member of the LDS Church and had been an accountant and office manager.

He is survived by his widow, Bertha of Stockton; five sons and two daughters, Loren Jr., Malad; Boyd T., Reno; Samuel W., Lockeford, Calif.; Fred, Santa Cruz, California; Richard L. and Mrs. Guy (Katherine) Corum, Stockton; Mrs. Dell Owens, Ogden. There are 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. A brother, Ralph F. Peck, survives in Blackfoot, and a sister, Mrs. Julia Thomas, Merced, Calif.
