EVANS, LLOYD JAMES

Funeral service was conducted Wednesday at Malad Second LDS Ward Chapel for Lloyd James Evans, age 68, who died February 14, 1971 at the Oneida Hospital of an apparent heart attack.

Mr. Evans was born September 20, 1902 at Higgins, Texas, a s on of James and Ella McNillie. He married Eva Vilate Andrus, November 12, 1929 in Logan, Utah.

He was a farmer and a member of the LDS Church.

Survivors include his widow, Malad; a son, Lloyd C. Evans, Winnemucca, NV; seven daughters, Mrs. Ruth Thornock and Mrs. Neta Duncan, both of Ogden; Mrs. Virginia Robinson, Sonora, CA; Mrs. Stella Nash, Sparks, NV; Mrs. Gerry Oliver, Portland, OR; Mrs. Bonnie Jeppsen, Malad; Mrs. Elaine Rogers, Fallon, NV; 34 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

Bishop Gordon Crowther conducted the services.

Burial was in the Malad City Cemetery, directed by Benson Funeral Home.
