EVANS, LESLIE M., December 23, 1901 – February 26, 1975

Graveside rites at Malad City Cemetery were conducted Wednesday for Leslie M. Evans, 73, Pocatello, who died Sunday in Salt lake hospital after an illness.  Funeral services were conducted at Pocatello earlier Wednesday.

Mr. Evans was born December 23, 1901 at Samaria, a son of Lorenzo and Anna Morse Evans.  He married Sarah Ella Daniels in 1923 and she died in 1958.  Mr.  Evans lived in Arbon until his marriage, then worked as a mechanic here before going to Pocatello in 1934 when he worked for Garrett Freightlines and Simplot’s, returning to Arbon in 1959 to work on a ranch for several years.  He was a member of the LDS Church.

Surviving are two daughters, two brothers, a sister, seven grandchildren and a great grandchild.
