Leslie David Ricker
December 15, 1940 – April 13, 2023

Leslie David Ricker passed away at home with his wife, Gloria Ricker, on April 13, 2023. He was born on December 15, 1944, to Frank & Agnus Ricker with one brother, Bruce Ricker. All through high school, Les was involved in the FFA program. Raising cattle was his favorite, and he was good at it. His big dream was to have a cattle ranch that his kids would work with him. He eventually became a lineman for southern California Edison, and he helped build many transformers along hwy 395 and I-5. He also owned a marble/stone & masonry business. Everything he did, he gave 100%, did it right & good. He and his wife Gloria got married in 1980, she with 3 girls, he with 2 boys, 1 girl. Our families came together, and accepted each other. He became a dad to 6 kids overnight and he did great. He was patient, fair, firm & loving. He has a love for life like no other. His laugh would make heads
turn it was so contagious. He loved to tell his stories, he had plenty to tell too. A few years after Dad & Mom got married Dad became a member of the church of Jesus christ of latter day saints. When the Gospel became a part of his life it made him an even better dad. Then on to be a wonderful papa & great grandpa. His 6 children are Brad, Joy, Jill, Paula, Daniel & Jamie. He has 16 grandchildren & 20 great grandchildren. All of which he loves with every bit of his heart. We also want to thank our friends and neighbors in our community that have
Loved & helped us in so many ways since we have moved here. The best place we have ever lived, truly our home. In July we will celebrate Les’ life during our family reunion. More information will be announced as we get closer.
