Leo Kay Dell Jensen, 24 August 1934

Leo Kay Dell Jensen, 69, passed away of a sudden illness on September 21, 2003 in Salt lake City, Utah.

He was born August 24, 1934 in Malad, Idaho. He was the son of Leo T. and Hazel B. Rose Jensen. He attended local schools, graduating from Malad High School in 1952. He attended Snow College, and was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He married Charlotte Jones; they were later divorced.

A long time resident of Salt Lake City, he retired from the Tooele Ordinance Depot. He was active in the American Legion Post 71, where he made many life long friends.

He is survived by two daughters, Sandra Kay Weisz, Sandpoint, ID and Jocie Ann (David) Brown, Salt Lake City, UT; nine grandchildren and three sisters, Var C’ (David) Roberts, Rolene (Neal) Gleed, Glenna Deen Illum, all of Malad, ID. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Marvin R. Jensen and stepfather, T. Rowland Jones.

Funeral services will be September 27, 2003 at the Benson Horsley Funeral Home in Malad, ID. Interment will be at the Malad City Cemetery with military rites provided by the Ernest W. Jones Post #65.
