Leland T. Cottle

Trenton, Utah – Leland Thomas Cottle, 80, died Sunday, May 13, 1990 at Logan Regional Hospital. He was born April 22, 1901, in Plain City, Utah, the son of Thomas Henry and Ella Jamima Neal Cottle. He married Clara Irene Anderson, October 3, 1921, in Malad, Idaho. This marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. She preceded him in death in death in 1987.

At an early age he homesteaded a farm in Stone, Idaho, where he had lived until 1941. He was involved in irrigation all of his life, starting as a water boy at the age of nine on the Curlew Irrigation Project. He served as a water-master and manager of the West Cache.
