GODDARD, LELAND
Leland Goddard, age 66, of Malad, died May 5, 1976 in the Oneida County Hospital following a long illness.
He was born October 28, 1909 in Malad, a son of Martin and Ruth Ann Thomas Goddard. He was married to Florence Hanson on July 31, 1932 in Preston, Idaho.
He was a rancher and member of the LDS Church, Fraternal Order of Eagles and Idaho Cattlemen’s Association.
Surviving are his widow of Malad; four sons and one daughter, James Leland Goddard, Richard Alan Goddard, Roger Larry Goddard, all of Malad; Kenneth David Goddard, Bountiful; Mrs. Paul (Linda) Knet, Bancroft; and 11 grandchildren.
Also surviving are one brother and eight sisters, Fred Goddard, Malad; Mrs. Millie Strouse, Mrs. Floyd (Ruth) Copen, both of Ely, NV; Mrs. Newell (Anna) Nish, Plymouth, UT; Mrs. Melvin (June) Thomson, Odessa, TX; Mrs. Chester (Jennie) Bailey, Magna, UT; Mrs. Jake (Charlote) Koer; Mrs. Elizabeth Reynolds, both of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Irene Richards, Inglewood, CA.
