Lane Sidney Palmer, 22 December 1956

OGDEN – Our beloved son, father, brother and friend, Lane Sidney Palmer, entered into this life on December 22, 1956. Lane entered into Eternity on September 17, 2003 where he was reunited with his best friend and brother, Chris, his brother Jerry and his grandparents, Roscoe and LaVenia Palmer, Martin and Emma Johnson. Lane was surrounded by family and friends, when his body succumbed to the perils of leukemia.

Lane was born and raised in Ogden. He graduated from Ogden High School in 1974. He was a member of the Rushton Heights LDS Ward. Lane married Kari Lynn Pickett and together they had a daughter, Jenny Lynn. They later divorced, but remained friends until the last moment of his life. He later married Vickie Hamman.

Lane was a warm hearted and loving person who loved to fish, camp and enjoyed the outdoors.
Lane leaves behind a lot of people who loved him dearly. His loving parents, Sidney H. and Sharon Johnson Palmer, brothers: Bryan (Cindy) and Adam (Jo) and sister, Suann, daughter, Jenny, grandson Kalob Lane and special nieces and nephews.

The family is grateful for the loving care of Lane during the last few months of his life. We would like to give a special thank you to Dr. Frame, Cottonwood Hospital, Staff, Vista Care and many others who gave our family support, especially our special friend Kari.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 22, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at Myers Mortuary Chapel in Ogden, 845 Washington Blvd., where friends may call on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Monday from 10 – 10:45 a.m.
