LaMAR TRACY

LAYTON, UT – LaMar Tracy, age 44, of North Layton, Utah, formerly of Tremonton, Utah, died March 30, 1987 in Salt Lake City of causes awaiting a medical examiner’s report.

He was born December 17, 1942 in Tremonton, a son of Anthon Orin and Verna Larsen Tracy. He had lived in Park Valley, Tremonton, Garland, Yanktown, South Dakota; Provo, Salt Lake City, Ogden, Brigham City and Layton.

He attended schools in Park Valley, McKinley Elementary, Bear River High School and graduated from Weber State College in nursing. He graduated from Sacred Heart Hospital in anesthesiology. He attended Brigham Young University and Utah State University.

He had worked as a nurse anesthetist at McKay Dee Hospital in Ogden, Bear River Valley Hospital in Tremonton, Utah Valley Hospital in Provo, Brigham City Community Hospital and was presently employed at St. Benedict’s Hospital in Ogden.

He served an LDS Mission in Milan, Italy, and Northwest US Mission in Seattle, WA. He had served as a medic in the Utah National Guard in Garland.

Surviving are his mother of Garland; grandmother, Irene Hall, of Brigham City; four brothers and two sisters: K. Ross Tracy, Malad; Lowell Tracy, Layton; Michael Allen Tracy, Plymouth; Brent Tracy, Logan; RaNae Tracy, Garland and Mrs. David (Vicki) Moore of Malad.

He was preceded in death by his father and two sisters. Funeral services were held April 3 at the Garland Ward Chapel with Bishop Brent A. Kirkland officiating.

Interment was in the Park Valley Cemetery.
