Former Malad resident dies in Salt Lake City

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday noon at 260 E. South Temple, Salt Lake City, for Kenneth Ray Ripley, 62, a former Malad resident, who died Dec. 28 [1967] at his home in Salt Lake City of natural causes.

Mr. Ripley was born Aug. 19, 1908 at Malad, a son of Alonzo and Annie Evans Ripley. He married Charlotte (Lottie) Jones, June 4, 1930 in the Logan LDS Temple. Owner of the C Street Grocery in Salt Lake City, Mr. Ripley was manager of O. P. Skaggs Market. He was a member of the LDS Church.

Surviving are his widow, sons and daughters, Mrs. Allen (Janice) Kentch, Tooele, Utah; Gerald Ray, David Keith, both of Salt Lake City; Robert L. Des Plaines, Illinois; his mother, Malad; 10 grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Clarence, Magna, Utah; Clifford, Eagle, Idaho; Belle, Los Angeles; Grant, Ogden; Virginia, Columbus, Ohio.
