KENNETH TILLOTSON DIES FEBRUARY 11

Kenneth Glen Tillotson, 67, died February 11, 1983 after an extended illness. He was born to Edwin Warren and Ada Merinda Kemp Tillotson, July 21, 1915 in McCammon. The family had a farm in Virginia where he grew up and went to school.

He married Annie Myrl Thornton on Dec. 31, 1937 in Pocatello. On January 28, 1966 they were sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple. He was an Elder in the LDS Church. He was a home teacher in the 11th and 30th Wards and he enjoyed Temple work. He was a committeeman for the Boy Scouts and enjoyed going to their summer camp.

He worked in maintenance for the Pocatello School District. He enjoyed the out of doors, nature, gardening, leather working and woodworking and raising animals. He enjoyed being with his family and grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Pocatello; two sons, Gerald Glen and Michael Willis Tillotson, both of Pocatellop; two daughters, Mrs. Vaughn (Joan) Chatterson, Pocatello, and Mrs. Warren (Linda Myrl) Holloway, Rigby; a brother, Lynn Edwin Tillotson, Pocatello; a sister, Mrs. Lester (Dorothy) Wellard, Arimo; and 14 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Willis James Tillotson, and a sister, Mrs. Leo A. (Thelma) Lish.

Funeral services will be held today at the Pocatello LDS Stake Center with Bishop Nyle Ward of the 11th Ward officiating. Burial will be in the Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
