Kenneth Cooper dies Monday

Kenneth Arthur Cooper, 78, died Monday, February 25, (1980) in the Oneida County Hospital of Cancer.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 28, at 11:00 a.m. in the Malad Third Ward Chapel with Bishop Darrell Swartz officiating.

He was born Feb. 10, 1902, in Oronogo, Missouri, to Callie Arthur and Lillie Ray Cooper. He lived in Missouri until he was 16 when he moved to Oklahoma for work. He married Helen McDonald in 1926. They were later divorced. He married Audria Cameron Aug. 26,1939, in Redding, California. He had been an electrician working in heavy construction most of his life. He worked for several years along the west coast. In 1972 he moved to Malad and was residing here at the time of his death.

Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Arthur Cooper Jr., Maui, Hawaii, and John Edward Cooper, Japan; three grand¬children; one brother and two sisters, Fred L. Cooper, Indio, Calif.; Mrs. C.F. (Marjorie) McElroy, Santa Barbara, Calif.; Mrs. Pauline Reynolds, San Diego, California.

Friends may call at the Benson-Horsley Funeral Home Thursday morning prior to services. Burial will be in the Springville Cemetery in Utah.
