JENSEN, KATHERINE M, June 24, 1928 – August 7, 2004

Katherine O’Brien Jensen passed away August 7, 2004 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Kate was born June 24, 1928 in Garfield, Utah to Francis and Thelma O’Brien. She married Earl W. Jensen, January 11, 1947.

Kate was preceded in death by her mother, Thelma Anthony and stepfather, Elwynn (Mac), brother Richard, her father Francis O’Brien, husband Earl and son Fred.

She is survived by her sister, Lorraine (Gerry) Turner, Holliday, UT; brother, Robert (Gaye) Anthony, WVC, UT; children, Marcia (Lannie) Lloyd, Bountiful, UT; Trudy Jensen (Robert Woodgate), Citrus Heights, CA; Kathy (Mike) Shepherd, Malad, ID and Shelley (Randy) Mitchell, WVC, UT. She also leaves behind 15 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She enjoyed family gatherings, golfing, decorating and other do-jiggers.

Memorial services will be held August 16, 2004 at Valley View Funeral Home Chapel, WVC, UT.
