Karl Facer

FACER, KARL, April 16, 1910 – April 24, 1987

RIVERDALE – Karl Facer, 77, died Friday at the Franklin County Medical Center of a heart attack. He was born April 16, 1910 at Malad, a son of James Alma and Rozella Dalton Facer.

He married Mertha Biggs November 10, 1958 in Elko, NV. He was a retired farmer and a member of the LDS Church.

He is survived by his wife of Riverdale; a stepson, Dixie Smith, Pocatello; three stepdaughters, Lynda Wilcox, Mesa, AZ; Judy Barrett, Auburn, WA and Val D. McCoombs, Preston; ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; two brothers, Raymond Facer, Sandy, UT and Evan Facer, Ogden, UT; three sisters, Melba Lewis, Salt Lake City; Mabel Clark and Mary Nielson, both of Malad.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at noon in the Riverdale LDS Ward Chapel under the direction of Bishop Dallin Phillips. Burial will be in the Franklin Cemetery.
