Karl David Reeder, (1916)

REEDER, KARL D., November 17, 1916 – February 20, 2004

CLIFITON, ID – Karl David Reeder, 87, passed away February 20, 2004 at his home in Clifton. He was born November 17, 1916 in Brigham City, Utah, the son of Joseph Martin and Lula Isabella Burt Reeder. He married Barbara Henderson on April 3, 1942 in the Logan Temple. She preceded him in death in March of 1998.

He served an LDS mission in Holland and New England. He was a school teacher and taught for seven years at the Stone Elementary in Malad, ID. He taught for many years at the Jefferson Middle School in Preston. He served in many callings in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints including Bishop and High Councilor.

He is survived by his daughter, Joan Reeder, Richmond, Kentucky. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Kaye Reeder; by two sisters, Louise Holden and Amy Rothe; and by three brothers, Joseph, Homer and Spencer Reeder.

Funeral services were held February 25, 2004 in the Clifton Second Ward chapel. Interment was in the Clifton Cemetery.
