JULIA ANN PECK THOMAS DIED HERE AUGUST 16TH

Mrs. Julia Ann Peck Thomas, age 84, died August 16, 1972 at Oneida County Nursing Home of natural causes.

Mrs. Thomas was born Jan. 26, 1888 at Malad, to Fred and Elizabeth Leigh Peck. She married Seth Thomas June 16, 1910 at Malad. He died Oct. 1, 1967. Mrs. Thomas was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church and American Legion Auxiliary.

Surviving are a son, Seth, Jr., Sacramento, CA; four daughters, Mrs. U.R. (Carol) Waters, Malad; Mrs. W.B. (Phyllis) Treadwell, Merced, CA; Mrs. R.G. (Jerry) Sullivan, Mrs. Jack (Glen Rae) Stewart, both of Hollywood, CA; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; a brother, Ralph, Blackfoot.

Funeral services were held at Benson Funeral Home Saturday afternoon with the Rev. S. Norman Naugler officiating. Dr. Gerald K. Goodenough presented a musical selection. Bishop Wells Willie read the obituary. Mrs. Marguerite Ruegsegger played prelude and postlude music.

Interment was in Malad City Cemetery. Members of American Legion Auxiliary cared for the flowers.

Casket bearers were Devere Peck, Lyle Thomas, T.D. Jones, William B. Jones, Ren Thomson and Jeffrey E. Jones.

Benson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
