THOMAS, JULIA J., October 3, 1924 – November 30, 2006

LAS VEGAS, NV – Julia J. Thomas, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, passed away peacefully November 30, 2006. She was born in Malad City, ID, October 3, 1924, the daughter of Lawrence and Marie Jones. She married Khalil P. Thomas December 2, 1950.

Julia graduated from the University of Idaho at Moscow with a bachelor’s degree in political science and a master’s degree in social work from the University of Utah.

They have lived in Las Vegas for 48 years. She adored her family and lived life to the fullest. She was an avid golfer, witty, energetic, loved travel and adventure. She truly was the matriarch of our family.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Khalil P. Thomas; children: Larry (Karen), Cina (Miles), and Joe (Mickeleen); grandchildren: Eric, Cina, John, Alec, Kendall, Paige, Nels, Lennon, Matthew and Julia; and her great-grandchildren: Cody, Kellin and Cash.

Funeral services were held on December 3.
