Jule Norton Durham (No Birth Date/Death 17 Feb 1984)

Word has been received here of the death of Jule Norton Durham, formerly of Pocatello, who died in San Diego, California, on Friday (17 Feb 1984).

She was born in McCammon to William and Annette Norton. For a brief period, she was employed by the Union Pacific Railroad in Pocatello Where, in 1921, she was married to David Durham.

They moved to San Diego in 1958 after the retirement of Mr. Durham as chief dispatcher for the Union Pacific in Salt Lake City.

She was prominent in social circles here, past president of the American Legion Auxiliary, and a member of Bannock Salon No. 559, 8 and 40.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Norma Skoglund, San Diego; and grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Burial will be in San Diego.
