JOSEPHSON, JOSEPH ROBERT, July 13, 1927 – June 14, 2006

Joseph Robert Josephson, age 78, passed away June 14, 2006 due to cancer, in Kearns, Utah. Joseph was born July 13, 1927 in Malad, Idaho to Nate Josephson and Thelma Facer Josephson. He married Barbara Norris on June 1, 1949 in Salt lake City, Utah. He was a member of the LDS Church.

Our beloved father was married to mom for 57 years. He loved his wife and children, and his pets. He worked hard at Kennecott for 38 years and in his yard after retirement. He was fond of fishing, ghost towning, rock hunting, reading western novels, painting, woodworking and gambling in Wendover. We love him and will miss him dearly.

Joseph is survived by his loving wife, Barbara; daughters, Patricia Leiter and Diana Andrews (Mike); sons Melvin Josephson (Lisa) and David Josephson (Terri); sisters, Martha White (Richard) and Joan Condie (Earl); seven grandchildren, Bobby, Curt, Jarred, Nick, Carla, Holly and Terra; and ten great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents, one sister and one grandson.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 17, 2006 at 12:00 noon at Valley View Funeral Home Chapel, 4335 West 4100 South. The family will receive friends at a visitation from 10:00 – 11:45 a.m. prior to the services on Saturday. Interment Valley View Cemetery.
