Services Held For Joseph F. Petersen

Funeral services were Saturday for Joseph Frank Petersen, 71, who died Wednesday, Dec. 18th, [1957] at the Malad Second Ward Chapel with Bishop Colen H. Sweeten, Jr. of Fourth Ward officiating.

Clarence Kent offered the prayer at the home.

Golden Roper gave the invocation; Milton T. Jones, the obituary; Ross Liljenquist, Ot** Benson, a duet; Fern, Lynda and Lorna Willie, instrumental t***, Louis Yearsley, vocal solo. Speakers were Golden Willie and Dr. Thos. W. Richards. Gold Wise offered the benediction and Melvin Liljenquist dedicated the grave.

Prelude and postlude music were played by Mrs. S. A. Hendricks. Flowers were supervised by the Fourth Ward Relief Society.

Loren Peck, Jerry Williams, Alden Camp, William Ries[sic] Raymond Horsley and David Jones, Sons-in-law, acted as casket bearers. Francis and Velda Petersen were honorary bearers.

Those from out of town were attended the services were:
