Joseph Bart Fuhriman

Joseph Bart Fuhriman passed away on Thursday, the 20th of January 2012 at the Lander Regional Hospital. He will be laid to rest in Malad City, Idaho next to his mother, Rula Jean Thomas.
Bart was born June 12, 1961, in Fort St John, British Columbia, Canada, to Dale and Rula. He was the youngest of four siblings. He grew up in Idaho and began chasing oil rigs in the ’80s with his brothers. He met Teresa Findley while working at the airport in Casper, and they married in 1981. They had two boys, Zach and Blake. They moved to Lander in ’89, where he began working in real estate, and moved into the construction trade working for several different companies until he finally started his own construction company in the mid-’90s. He and Teresa divorced and he moved to Atlantic City to pursue his gold mining hobby. Bart enjoyed Gold mining and spending time with his boys.
Bart was preceded in death by his two brothers, Kelly and Shane, his mother Rula, and father, Dale. He is survived by his sister Kathy Schwartz (Kevin) of Gillette WY. His sons Zach Fuhriman (Hannah) of Lander WY, Blake Fuhriman (Gabby) of Ft. Benning, GA, sister Marti Fuhriman (Terry), and Step-mother Merigene Fuhriman both of Dawson Creek BC Canada along with several aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, and cousins. The family will receive friends at the Horsley Funeral Home 132 W. 300 N. in Malad, on Thursday, January 26, 2012, from 12 noon until 12:45 pm. Concluding service will be at the Pleasantview Cemetery at 1:00 pm.
