Born Nov. 12, 1882, Bern, Switzerland to Rudolph and Elizabeth Trachsel Niederhausern. Married Anna Marie Ruegsegger, Oct. 2, 1907, Logan Temple; she died 1952. Married Rose Sharpe, Feb. 1, 1960, Logan Temple. Came to America 73 years ago. Operated dairy and produce farm in Logan.

(Lucy) Ellis, Elmer, both Logan; Muthan, Charles, both Providence, Cache County; step children; Philip Sharpe, Salt Lake City; Oliver Sharpe, Clearfield, Davis County, Mrs. Frances Deyaux, New York City; Mrs. Alma Hobbs, England; 51 grandchildren; 62 great grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren. Sisters: Mrs. Martha Glauser, Logan; Mrs. Rose Wursten, Providence.
Funeral Thursday noon, Hall Mortuary Chapel; where friends call Wednesday 7-9 p.m. and Thursday one hour before service. Burial, Logan City Cemetery.
