EVANS, JOHN LUSK

Funeral services for John Lusk Evans, 64, a pioneer rancher of Cherry Creek in Marsh Valley, were held Saturday at the home of his sister, Mrs. M.F. Tovey and at the Third Ward LDS Church.

John Evans was born July 9, 1886 in Malad City, a son of Charles R. and Jane Lusk Evans. He married Caroline Jones December 26, 1906 in Malad and they moved to Downey where the family lived since. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Survivors are the widow; a son and daughter, Carl R. Evans, Tooele, UT, and Mrs. harry D. (Rhoda) Reeves, Ogden, UT; a brother and three sisters, David R. Evans and Mrs. Mattie Tovey, Malad; Mrs. C.J. Mock, Downey, and Mrs. Paul Miller, Los Angeles.
