JOHN L. PRICE JR.

John L. Price Jr. dies June 9 at Seattle

John L. Price Jr., age 58 died June 9 [1977] at Seattle, Washington of cancer. He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. John L. Price Sr. of Malad. He was born June 16, 1918 at Malad. He married Marjorie Stohler Price on Dec. 24, 1937. After graduating from MHS he began work as a clean up boy at Pacific Fruit and Produce Company, receiving several promotions. He was granted a leave of absence to serve in the US Army for two years. Upon his return to work at PF&P, Mr. Price continued to excel in the company until his present statis, that of one of four directors for the North Western States.

Survivors include; his wife, of Seattle, one son, John L. Price III, of Eugene, Oregon, one daughter, Mrs. Gary (Beverly) Curtis of Portland, and four grandchildren. One brother, Kleal J. Price of Malad and one sister, Mrs. Chloe Coffman of Concord, Calif.

Services were held Monday, June 13 at Seattle with burial at Portland on June 14.
