John Cleon Thomas

MALAD – John Cleon Thomas, 87, of 236 Blue Jay Way, Santa Rosa, Calif., and former Malad resident, passed away Feb. 14, 1992, in Santa Rosa, Calif.

He was born April 10, 1904, in Malad, the son of John and Mary Olivers Thomas. He was reared and educated in Malad, graduating from Malad High School. He married Helen Klabo in 1928; she died in 1971. He later married Lillian Peterson.

He is survived by his wife, of Santa Rosa, Calif.; two sons, Cleon Thomas of Kamiah, Idaho, and Bob Thomas of Moscow, Idaho; and numerous grandchildren and great­grandchildren. Also surviving are four brothers, Dan Thomas of Salt Lake City, Utah, Dale Thomas of Yuma, Ariz., Glen Thomas of California, and Saye Thomas of California.

Graveside services will be held Monday, 11 a.m., at the Malad City Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Benson-Horsley Funeral Home of Malad.
