BROTHER OF MALAD MAN, JOHN CHARLES THOMAS, DIES

John Charles Thomas, age 82, died November 28, 1970 at Valley Hospital, Tremonton, He was a brother of Robert L. Thomas, Malad, and grandfather to Mrs. Elbert Hubbard, Malad, and Mrs. Thayne Daniels, Logan. Funeral services were held Wednesday at Tremonton and burial was there.

Mr. Thomas was born at Malad July 12, 1888, a son of David Davis and Jane Lewis Roberts Thomas. He married Margaret Ann Bennett Dec. 2, 1908 in Salt lake City LDS Temple. He was a plastering contractor and brick mason. A member of the Fifth LDS Ward at Tremonton, he was also a Seventy.

Surviving are sons and daughters Lynn B., Joseph E., Mrs. LeRoy (Mary Lou) Thompson, John Harold, all of Honeyville, UT; Ralph B., Salt lake City; Mrs. Theron (Alice M.) Johnson, Spanish Fork, UT; a brother, Robert L. Thomas, Malad; 20 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren.
