John Bernard Albert Nordick, 10 June 1908

SWAN LAKE – John Bernard Albert Nordick, 88, died October 9, 1996 in Downey, Idaho.

He was born June 10, 1908 in Breckenridge, Minnesota, the son of Casper and Eva Linck Nordick. He married pearl Hillman Sept. 18, 1929 in Logan, UT. The marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. She died Feb. 18, 1982.

Albert was a hard worker and loved reading. He was a dairy man and rancher. He was elder’s quorum president and Sunday School president in Swan Lake. He worked on the county road commission.

He is survived by a stepdaughter, Edna Egan, Richmond, UT; a stepson, Fred Thomas, Hillsboro, OR; and two brothers, Ernest Nordick and Edward Nordick; five sisters, Doris Mauch, Josephine Bryan, Gertrude Oscarson, Florence Slaker and Peggy Larsen; six grandchildren, eight grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren.

He as preceded in death by his wife, three sisters, Helen, Marion and Karen (Bertha), a brother, Harold and a stepson Russell Thomas.

Funeral services will be October 14, 1996 in the Swan lake LDS Ward Chapel with Bishop Lynn Merrill conducting. Burial will be in the Swan Lake Cemetery.
