Funeral Services For John Stubbs

John A. Stubbs, 72, died Thursday, July 22, at Lava.

Funeral services were held 1 p.m., Sunday at the Benson Funeral Home with Bishop Golden Willie of the Malad LDS 2nd ward in charge.

W. W. Thomas was the speaker; Bishop Willie gave the obituary; Mrs. Wendell Camp played the prelude and postlude and accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Dyreng, who sang a duet, Wendell Camp and Thos. Burrows offered the invocation and benediction and Raiford Benson dedicated the grave.

Son of Charles and Sarah Ann Short Stubbs, Mr. Stubbs was born in England and came to America when five years of age. Reared and educated in Malad, he homesteaded in Elkhorn and engaged in farming most of his life. He was a member of the LDS Church.

Surviving are a niece, Mrs. Hyrum Lewis, Blackfoot; two nephews, Edward S. Evans, Inkom; Floyd S. Evans, Pocatello.
