Jetta Ipsen Isaacson

Jetta Ipsen Isaacson, 91, of Malad, died Friday, June 12, 1992, in the Oneida County Hospital.
She was born November 21, 1900, the daughter of Nephi Peter and Margaret Wight Ipsen in Brigham City, Utah. In 19014, the family moved to Pleasantview, Idaho. She had lived the rest of her life in Malad, except for a few years in Boise, when her husband was state land commissioner.
She married Joseph M. Isaacson April 1, 1921, in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. Her husband died October 27, 1964.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in all organizations of the church. She had been an organist, teacher in Sunday School, Mutual, Primary and in Relief Society. She had also served as Relief Society president.
She is survived by children, Carl Isaacson, Malad; Margaret Swindle, Malad; Isaac Dale Isaacson, San Jose, California; Marie Delucca of Lava Hot Springs; Joseph Lynn Isaacson, Grand Coulee, Washington; and Rula Jean Thomas of Malad; 27 grandchildren; 61 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, a son, Stanley, and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the St. John LDS Ward Chapel. Burial was in the Pleasantview Cemetery.
