Jason D. Crawford

Jason Dwayne Crawford, 23, died Tuesday morning, January 9, 1990, in University of Utah Medical Center following an illness.

He was born June 10, 1966, in Charleston, South Carolina, to Anthony L. and Carolyn June Bunce Crawford and moved to Pocatello when he was 1 year old. He attended schools in Pocatello and graduated from Highland High School in 1985, where he was active in the band. He graduated from the School of Law Enforcement at Idaho State University in October 1989.

He was employed part time at Power County Jail and was part-time security for J. C. Penny.

He participated in roller skating competitions throughout the Northwest and also enjoyed fishing, camping, hiking, hunting, motorcycling, horses and chariot racing.

Survivors include his parents of Pocatello; his fiancee, Ann Marie Weeks, Malad; a brother, Tony Crawford, Chubbuck; a sister, Mrs. Kurt (Carrie Jo) Churba, Pocatello and grandparents, Ruth Crawford, Bear Lake, California, and Stanley Bunce of Pocatello.

Funeral services were held Saturday at the United Methodist Church in Pocatello. Burial was in the Malad Cemetery with graveside rites.
