Malad, Idaho – Jan Madsen, 9, of Wendell, Idaho, died Wednesday, October 5, 1966 at 1:50 p.m. in a Salt Lake hospital after a long illness.

She was born Nov. 2, 1956, at Malad, a daughter of Clifford D. and Erma Rees Madsen. She was a member of the LDS Church and had attended schools in Malad and Wendell. She moved to Malad with her parents in January of 1965.

Surviving are her parents, Wendell; two brothers, one sister, Sheldon Madsen, Malad, Dell Madsen, Wendell and Mrs. John (Jeanne) Scott, Boise, Idaho.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Malad Stake Chapel with Bishop Roger Facer officiating.

Friends may call at the Benson Funeral Home Friday evening and Saturday prior to services. Burial will be in the Malad City cemetery.
