Services Friday For James Hughes
Funeral services for James Hughes Sr., 70, who passed away Tuesday night at his home after a lingering illness, will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at the First ward chapel with Bishop Jess Hughes presiding.
Mr. Hughes, the son of Sara Ann Richards and Daniel Hughes was born October 10, 1877, at Samaria, Idaho. On November 23, 1900 he was married to Elizabeth Jones.
He is the father of five sons and daughters namely, Mrs. Mary Parry, Mrs. Sarabell Vaughan, William and Dan Hughes, Malad; and James Hughes Jr., of Ogden. Other survivors are his wife and the following brothers and sister, Dan Hughes, Malad; John Hughes and Mrs. Margaret Erickson, Ogden.
