FORMER MALADIAN DIES OF HEART AILMENT
Jack Thompson, 42, former Malad resident, died of a heart ailment Tuesday at San Lorenzo, CA.
Services and interment will be at San Lorenzo Friday.
Mr. Thompson was employed at Jones Chevrolet Co. until he left Malad 17 years ago. His wife is the former Wilda Jones.
Surviving are his widow, two children, Joyce and Terry, San Lorenzo; a brother, Melvin Thompson, Weaverville, CA; a sister, Edna Johnson, Provo, UT.

Funeral services Friday at San Lorenzo, CA for John C. Thompson, 42, were attended by Mr. and Mrs. John L. Price, Malad; Mr. and Mrs. Evan E. Jones, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Jones, Pocatello; Mrs. Sara Price, Blackfoot.
Mr. Thompson was born October 1, 1914 at Malad, the son of Elizabeth St. Joer and Lester Thompson. His mother died when he was ten and he lived with relatives in Provo for a time. He returned to Malad to enter high school and lived with his brother, Melvin. He married Wilda Jones May 31, 1934. He worked for Jones Chevrolet Co. while here and was employed at the Alameda Naval Air Base at the time of his death.
