Ivy Ann Price died at hospital Thursday
Mrs. Ivy Ann Reed Price, age 73, died Thursday, Jan. 6, [1977] at the Oneida County Hospital of ** extended illness.
She was born Dec. 12, 1903 at St. John to John T. and Mary Ja** Josephson Reed.
She married Nephi L. Price April 17, 1923 in Malad. The marriage was solemnized Ju** 22, 1948 in the Logan LDS Temple.
She received her education at the Malad schools. Being active member of the LDS Church, she served in the Danie* Relief Society, Malad First Ward Relief Society, the MIA, Primary and Sunday School. She received a certificate for 20 years’ service for the cancer drive in 1973.
Survivors include her husband of Malad; three brothers and one sister, William J. Reed and Sylvester R. Reed, both Malad; Theodore R. Reed Palisades’, and Mrs. Ga** (Carol) Florke of Sioux City, Iowa.
FUNERAL SERVICE
Services were held Monday Jan. 10 at the Malad First LDS Ward Chapel with Bishop Gord** Griffiths officiating.
Family prayer was offered Teddy Ray Reed at the Benson Funeral Home.
At the Chapel, Henry Gl** offered the invocation. Delivering the obituary was Anna **** Reed Lloyd.
Speakers were Bishop Griffith and Bishop Hubert Gleed. Re** Daniels offered the benediction
Emma S. Ward played prelude and postlude music, and accompanied.
Vocal selections were rendered by Dr. G.K. Goodenough and Connie Budge.
Concluding rites were at Malad City Cemetery where William L. Price offered the dedicatory prayer.
First Ward Relief Society, Karine Hill, president, was in charge of flowers.
Casket bearers were Keith Blaisdell, Thayne Daniels, Ricky Edwards, Scott Blaisdell, Greg Evans and Garry Wakley.
